In your opinion, which class is the most useless? Most of the time, in most situations, this class simply doesn't do well. Which class do you think that is?

You may only choose one class for this poll.

I'm not a big fan of the bard. I like the concept, I don't care for the execution. Back in the old days when being human meant you couldn't really be "two classes at once" the bard was a fine rogue/wizard option.

I see the bard is already getting early hate. So sad that so many people do not understand that it is the most powerful class in the game.

I've seen the most powerfull classes played poorly, and the weaker ones played superbly. In the end, the person at the wheel is the main factor in the use (ful/less) ness of the class.

I agree ... it is the player who makes the class shine or useless to the max. ;)

Hmm ... how come no psi classes in there? (Just joking :p )

I personally find the bard to be a very useful class. Now the monk I have trouble finding uses for other than being a 'spellcaster killer.'

I voted none are useless... whether it's the most, the least or whatever. You just can't stick a label like that on any of the core classes because what may be a very ineffective class in one guy's game may be the most optimal and superior class in someone else's.

Case in point: A bard may be ineffective in a hack n' slash game dominated by barbarian and fighter classes Power Attacking and Sundering everything. His spells here and there and Inspire abilities will help the party, but he'll never really shine on his own. He's a supporting character. Same bard in a campaign heavy on role-playing, diplomatic missions, and scenarios involving finesse and tact make him the most optimum class to play.

QFT

But I still get more mileage out of a bard than I do out of any other class. It is so easy to build a powerful one, even with just the core rules.
