I had to go with Wiess/hickman combo. But there are a lot of good authors so the choice was hard. I really liked the modules kings fstival and queens harvest by carl sargent. I even went to the work to convert them to 2e then 3e!

keep up the good work - all of you.

I went with Jeff Grubb. The 1E MotP is still my all-time favorite book. And he's a fellow Purdue Alum.

Gygax is near the top, but more for his older stuff than the new. Let's just say I read several reviews of his d20 products before I buy them.

Bill and Clark are great.

Monte Cook, well, most of his stuff just doesn't fit with what I want to do in my campaigns, so I really don't care for him. He is obvioulsy very talented, but I just don't gush about him like several posters here do constantly. (Go ahead, label me a heretic....)

Gahh! I'm the only one who voted for Clark and Bill? Where are all of you Necrophiliacs....I mean Necromaniacs? :)

We're here (the Necromaniacs, at least), but we were only allowed one choice on the poll. :(

My vote goes to Sean K Reynolds. I've never read a product, article or web enhancement from him where I didn't find something I could use in my campaign.

It's too hard to pick just one - and each author has multiple titles under their belt, some of it shared credit. There really isn't anyone on that list whose work I haven't liked all the time or at some time, even if in some cases its only just one title. :)

I finally chose Chris Pramas because I've really enjoyed his recent work.

I like ME. Because I know what's balanced for My game. Because I can control the spells the players know/have access to. Because I have situations in My game that may be different. And because I'm a pretty good writer.
