Which D&D book should I buy?

I am looking to buy one WOTC book, but I dont know which one to buy. I am not too fond of PrCs unless they really are flavorful. I like a good amount of feats mostly, and some new spells and items. Fluff is also fun to read too. My group plays in some funky forgotten realms game with elemenst from other settings.

Manual of the Planes - the best 3e WotC book so far. And to hell with the 3e FR planes, this is better. ;)

Serpent Kingdoms - damn good book, useful outside of FR as well

Lost Empires of Faerun - some fun stuff, especially if you're running an FR game

I would consider the Manual of the Planes, but the person who is helping to buy the book hates planes, and we never do any plane-hopping anyways.

Keep em coming. :)

I favour the Dragonomicon personally. The work that went into the ecology of Dragons has been the best book WoTC put out. Not to mention the awesome art.

It probably doesnt meet your feat criteria, and I'm sure there will be plenty of arguments but... I really like the DMG II. I think its one of the better books put out since the revision.

It has some new items, some archetypes, an entire community ripe with adventure hooks, solid DM advice, new traps and so on...

Check it out.

Mmm, I suggest getting the Fiend Folio if yah want crunch, it's probally the best Monster Book ever made in exsistince.

For fluff go Manual of the Planes. GODLY BOOK! Such uses within the campaign. Has a lil bit of crunch to.
