Which "Decade Book" for Spycraft would you like to see most?

Which decade deserves its own Spycraft suppliment?

After a couple of years of putting it off, I've recently been introduced to the awesome D20 RPG Spycraft. The game is absolutely fascinating to me, as it does a wonderful job of portraying the "superspy" espionage genre made popular by James Bond and other spy movies and TV shows over the years.

While browsing through Spycraft products, I noticed that there's a Spycraft suppliment for the 1960s, which was the height of the Cold War and the decade where spy fiction was everywhere. This got me thinking: Which "decade book" (other than the 1960s) would you like to see most?

I voted for the 1980s. The 1980s was a decade began with American hostages being held prisoner in Iran and ended with the fall of Communism in Eastern Europe, with lots of major events in between. It was a time of great change all over the world, and there are countless plot hooks that could be used in a Spycraft serial.

My second vote would be a 1940s/WWII decade book. WWII is packed with Spycraft serial potential, and players could chose agencies such as the American OSS or the British SOE.

I voted 1940s, but I'd really like to see a post-WWII sourcebook, with maybe just a few tie-ins to the very end of the war, as a resource for conspiracy gaming. The whole Paperclip and Gehlen Org double-dealing with Nazis, reformation of the OSS into CIG and then CIA, occupation of Japan, formation of the Warsaw Pact - this period provided the beginnings for so much of the later half of the 20th century. Even Roswell should get a page or two.

just so everyone is aware, AEG is working on the 1940's Decade book, scheduled to be released towards the end of the year or the beginning of next year. supposed to have a lot of information about WWII espionage(i.e. the OSS, etc.) and Post-WWII leading up to the Korean Conflict(well, 1950 at least, but you get the idea).

just to whet your appetite.

1860's Can't go wrong with the Wild Wild West. Well, you can, as the crappy Wil Smith movie proves, but it could still be a cool book.

Sorry, but I have to quash this rumor. 1940's has been kicked around for a while, but there is nothing definate - and it would certainly not be released end of this year or the beginning of the next. FWIW, coming from one of the 4 guys that would certainly be working on a book like this. Sorry folks. :(

Edit: However, for those of you gunning (har har) for a military campaign, this fall will see the release of both US Militaries and World Militaries. These books provide information on the organization, forces, tactics and weapons of armies and special forces units around the world, providing an excellent base for Spycraft military campaigns, SG-1 revisions, or even mastermind organizations for standard Spycraft. Just FYI :D
