yet again inspired by another thread(balancing a d20 hit die)....which die would you add to the standard array if you could?

The d16 die sits neatly between d12 and d20, and can't be easily done with a single die roll the way d2 and d3 can.

You left out the BEST option, though, and that is the d30.

d16 is so useful, especially for people that still use the standard system (of course d32 and d64 are also quite helpful).

Another die that I could envision being useful, especially for "hard-core" games is the d360. 360 is such a great number, and shows up a lot.

Also have a d100 (the ping-pong ball die) and a d7 (remember those?).
I actually used my d100 last night. Needed a cost for a non-standard item. Players got off cheap--only cost 'em 37 g.p. Of course, we wasted an entire minute waiting for the d100 (the golf-ball type) to stop rolling. :p

a d3 would be just like a d6, with 2 ones 2 twos and 2 threes...and the whole p[oll was a joke, i am amazed at the response :p

d3 - that is easy - it is a d6 with numbers that go from 1-3. I beleive that they are comercially available.
Ah, except that it'd be much more interesting to see someone actually create a three-sided object!

For the record, though, I'd like to see a d16.
