Which edition poll for October

What are you playing now?

  • Poll closed .
I think it just illustrates that this is a 4E heavy board and this poll is in a 4E topic heavy forum, so the votes are definitely slanted.
I'm pretty sure it doesn't actually illustrate that at all.

The idea that somehow the make-up of ENWorld, a website frequented only by the most enthusiast of players and DMs - nearly all of whom are well aware of Pathfinder's existence - somehow favors 4th Edition more than the tabletop gaming community at large is, frankly, ridiculous.

If anything, this board favors Pathfinder (and, indeed, many other small-market RPGs) to a massive degree. I guarantee you that Pathfinder doesn't have anywhere near the 15%+ market share that this poll would have you believe.

Please, resist the urge to label any outcome that favors 4e as merely a result of a slant in readership.

I voted 4e, cause that is by far what I'm running and playing.

My kid's red box is 3.5, and now pathfinder, however, and I see some of that in my future.

I do have a savage worlds campaign going and may have a short 1e game go as well.

I didn't vote because multiple options are not allowed...

Anyway, I'm currently running 2 FtF groups. The first one is an AD&D campaign, the second is currently a D&D 4e game, but likely we will rotate games. Current candidates include Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu and GURPS.

I'm running two PBEM and playing in one; all three are AD&D games.

Playing pathfinder 6 times a month in 2 different groups, and will be playing it 8 times a month here real soon as a PF Society game is brewing at my local FLGS and I will take part in that (although I am not sure whether it will be as a player or a DM...hopefully both).

If the poll had multiple options, I would have selected 3.x and other as well.

love,

malkav

Huh? Normally the hypocrisy is at least broken up over multiple posts.

And, just to clarify, this poll isn't about "market share", it is about ENWorld response. (And yes, it doesn't really offer much for that either)
