Well, there could be dozens of reasons why the numbers are the way they are (or aren't) in this unscientific poll. You can't draw any conclusions from them or prove anything with them. Internet polls are meant to be for entertainment purposes only - you know, for fun.

Kind of like RPGs used to be around here before it became such a Serious Business...

Still playing 3E - unfortunately. I'm quite eager to switch to 4E after giving it a test.

But my 3E campaign will still take a long time to finish - and I don't want to convert it 'midgame'. Also not all of players are interested in switching, so it's at least another year of 3E for me.

I also bought the Pathfinder RPG but haven't read it thoroughly yet. From skimming it over I didn't feel any desire to actually use it. I guess the group's paladin would benefit if it was converted to the PF version. But I didn't get the impression anyone else would gain much.

I also don't see how it could possibly help to make my prep work as a DM easier.

Currently running WFRP 2nd Edition (well, sort of - the campaign kicks off on Saturday). Just finished Star Wars Saga Edition.

As far as D&D is concerned, my edition of choice remains 3.5e for the time being. There is a reasonable likelihood that this will shift to Pathfinder, if and when I get a chance to read through the new rules and make a decision. We've essentially decided that 4e is not for us.

All that applies to games I'm running; I'm generally happy to play (almost) anything.

Almost two hundred votes, and still no love for Hackmaster?

I thought more of us would be playing C&C, too...it's my second-favorite game on the planet.

My picks are equally Some other Fantasy RPG and Non-Fantasy RPG.

D&D just doesn't scratch the itch for me anymore.

I am currently playing in two games: one is NWoD Changeling set in Las Vegas and the other is Ars Magica set in Powys. While the latter would largely count as "other fantasy rpg", I am unsure where people would place the former ;)

The nice thing is that six sessions into Changeling, we have yet to have a single combat. :)

I need multiple options.

The most regular game I run right now is 4e, so I picked that. I'm also playing in a bi-monthly 4e game.

Every few weeks, we do a quick two-session episode of a Call of Cthulhu d20 campaign.

In theory once a month, I'm running 1e as well.
