Which figures do you use?

Whoa. I skimmed Reapers online catalog for a good few hours, adding what I thought looked nice into my cart. When I was about halfway through the store ;) The subtotal was over $600.

$3 a figure doesn't sound like a lot anyway ... and their variety made me forget the limited selection of painted I would pick otherwise.

Also, I didn't know know SJGAMES had cardboard floor cutouts, which look nice. But I'm more interested in Dragon Scale Counters plastic boards:

$10, 6 8"x10" plastic boards, combine for a size of 24"x20" (or, 120'x100' in D&D size)

Though I think I'll get the Reaper Army Packs first to use generically (soldiers, orcs, skeletons, etc)

See, now LEGO figures I could go for! That'd be fun!

Anyone ever see that old wargame Legowars that some guy came up with? Kinda a parody of Warhammer 40K, really, but a decent game in spite of that!

I think he had to dismantle the site, though when Lego's lawyers got wind of it. Someone else reposted the game, calling it BrickWars with a lot of new additions and new rules. It still looks pretty fun (I've never played it, unfortunately.)
