Your poll might be a little flawed. You're asking who owns the 3.0 and 3.5 books now (more than a year after the release of a new edition) instead of who bought them when it was the current editiion (which is what you are asking as far as 4e goes.). In other words you are asking two different questions.
It might have been, but, surprisingly, it wasn't. I'm actually surprised. Ownership of the core books is pretty much even, without a whole lot of wiggle.
I wonder if it's an Enworld thing because we're so heavily into DM territory or if that's just the standard.
Seems a bit strange though after hearing all the anecdotes about how only the DM owns the books and how difficult it is to get the players to so much as buy the PHB.
My gut tells me it's an En World thing. But, then again, my gut told me that PHB would far outstrip the other two and that was wrong.
