I'd really rather see them make a new setting, rather than try to retcon/retrofit settings from previous editions..

Agree. It would be nice to see something new and fresh. Failing that I would like to see Greyhawk updated or nentir vale realised (I like 4e but I also liked the Board Game "Conquest Of Nerath")

I wish I could read instructions....I voted for my all time favorite setting Spelljammer.

Otherwise I would definitely have included Eberron, Kara Tur, Planescape and Birthright.
 




Any of the great settings described by Magic the Gathering would be fresh, plus you know just go across the hall and use IP you already own.
 

I love Planescape but I honestly don't think we need it redone as a setting. Release some adventures, maybe an AP that includes Sigil.

I really would like to see a Greyhawk setting in all its full-blown, 5E glory.
