Expanded Psionics Handbook: Yes. Big psionics fan, the new book looks amazing.

D&D Map Folio I: No.

Complete Divine: Maybe. Will have to see it first and it will have to have some choice stuff for me to buy. I really don't need to spend another $30 on a book I may use 1 or 2 feats and maybe one PrC out of.

Eberron Campaign Setting: Probably. I want to check this out and I doubt anyone else I know will pick it up. It looks like it could be cool.

Planar Handbook: Probably not. (See complete divine). Also don't seem to do much plane hopping.

Races of Stone: Probably not. (See complete divine). Have a hard time believing this will have anything I would use.

D&D Map Folio II: No.

D&D Basic Set: No, don't see a point.

Monster Manual III: Probably not. I don't DM much so I don't have anything other "monster books" than the basic MM.

Frostburn: Maybe. This may be interesting, hard to say at this point.

Eberron Whispers of the Vampire's Blade: Probably not. Depends how I feel about Eberron.

Special Edition Player's Handbook: No. Unless there is somthing amazing added in I don't see a need to pay extra for a PHB.

Libris Mortis The Book of Undead: No.

Shining South: No. Don't care about FR.

Complete Arcane: Maybe. (See complete divine).

Sharn : City of Towers: Probably not. Depends how much I like Eberron and if I'm actually playing or running it.

Races of the Wild: Maybe. (see races of stone). I am more likley to get this than races of stone because I like halflings :)

Map Folio 3-D: No.

Honestly, I've been considering cutting way back on my D&D purchases after the new Psionics HB. I just find I'm paying a lot of money for books I'm getting very little out of. I also want to work on more of my own stuff, so non-OGL books hold less appeal for me. WotC really has to do a good job of selling me on a book at this point. They did a good job with the new PsiHB, but they seem to be supported by really good content.

Expanded Psionics Handbook: If i can swap it out for my 3.0
D&D Map Folio I: nope
Complete Divine: i might buy for 10 to 15 USD
Eberron Campaign Setting: no thanks
Planar Handbook: ?

Monster Manual III: yeah
Frostburn : not familiar with this product
Eberron Whispers of the Vampire's Blade: no
Special Edition Player's Handbook: not familiar with this product
Libris Mortis The Book of Undead: if i can get it for 20
Shining South: not familiar with this product
Complete Arcane: 10 to 15 tops
Sharn : City of Towers: not familiar with this product
Races of the Wild: ?
Map Folio 3-D: depends what the maops are.

I'm a sucker for WotC products. I can't wait for Eberron, I'm in the it looks really cool camp. Complete Warrior was fantastic so I am really looking foreward to Complete Divine and Arcane. If Libris Mortis is even half as good as the Draconomicon was I'll be there to buy it the first day it comes out. 2004 has been a really good year for WotC.

I like Psionics and Planar Travel adventures. I like high-magic settings, so I'm picking up Ebberon, even though I'm probably not going to run a campaign there -- I'll happily rip off any good ideas I find therein.

Here's my take:

Expanded Psionics Handbook: Definitely - you can place a bet at Lloyd's on this
D&D Map Folio I: No Way
Complete Divine: Definitely - Updates more splat books to 3.5
Eberron Campaign Setting: - Definitely, though I'll be mostly borrowing Ideas
Planar Handbook: - Definietly - It's likely good reading for a DM
Races of Stone: - Definitely - so I know what my players want to use
D&D Map Folio II: - No Way, José
D&D Basic Set: - Undecided - depends on the Miniatures, etc included
Monster Manual III: - Definitely - You can never have too many monsters
Frostburn : - Definitely - I am curious, if it's as good as the 1st Ed Wilderness Handbook (IMHO one of the best books ever published) I'll by the follow-up products as well
Eberron Whispers of the Vampire's Blade: - I don't think so, it's an adventure
Special Edition Player's Handbook: - No Way!!! Waste of Money
Libris Mortis The Book of Undead: Definitely, I loved the Draconomicon, even though I haven't yet used it in the game
Shining South: Definitely - though I can't reason why - I have the 2nd Edition Original
Complete Arcane: - Definitely - see above
Sharn : City of Towers: - Undecided, depends on how much I like the Eberron Basic Setting
Races of the Wild: - Definitely - see above
Map Folio 3-D: - Undecided - if it's as ceap as the 2nd Edition Equivalent (I believe it was called "Cities of Mystery" that's a waste of Money)

I will get all the core stuff and all the Eberron stuff, no FR stuff or maps (I play online, what use are maps?)

If Eberron disappoints through this year, I'll not keep buying, but I'll give them this year.

And, if your feeling really brave, maybe you can give a description of why you choose to rank certain books in certain ways.

The answer to all is 'Probably Not'. If I find a copy of Eberron on sale somewhere, maybe. Nothing here really interests me. So much of it is just the 'same old'.

Man, I'm a fuddy-duddy... I like my game as it is - I don't need or want a lot of the options these books are offering. I am looking forward to some of the stuff the 3rd party folks are cranking out though.
