AFMBE, D&D 3.5, D20 Modern/Future/UA, WFRP2e, M&M 2e, Exalted 2E, and IK got my vote, but I'd also play Star Wars D20, Hero 5e (Champions setting), Iron Heroes, and Rifts if my arm was sufficiently twisted.

I voted D&D 3.5, but I'm wondering how the poll is skewed by others in my predicament. Specifically, I currently DM two D&D 3.5 campaigns, one weekly and one bi-weekly. But I always DM. I want to play!! :)

Also voted d20 Modern, Future, and the rest in that pack because we have dabbled in that in the past with another DM and I enjoyed, but there's not enough time in our schedules.

And last, Iron Kingdoms. I've been itching to run a campaign there since the first Witchfire module came out, and before I die, I shall! :]

I can't believe HoL is on the list. I'm friends with the artist -- and it's not really intended for play. :)

Yes, but any game with two versions of Martial Arts titled...

How to Make People Stop Living With Your Fist

or

That Whacky Bruce Lee Crap

HAS to be played...I'm sorry, it just has too.

No Lejendary Adventures? I've heard good things. And what is HoL?

Lejendary Adventures (if I'm remembering correctly) has WAY too complicated character generation for a one shot. I think it took me a week to make one character. No way I'm investing that much time into pre-genning characters for a one shot. (But I might be thinking of the wrong game system).

HoL = Human Occupied Landfill, it defies reasonable description. The entire rule book is hand written (not typed, written out). It has some really good art. It's...dark, but funny. Very satirical.

I have both D20 Modern and Dune and I am sad that I will probably never get to play either one. No one in my group is really interested in them.

And add votes for Champions/Hero (and the other Hero variants as well), and Ars Magica.

QFT

Champions/Hero is "the" most flexible game system in the world (yes, more so than GURPS and FUDGE, imo). You describe what you want your character to be able to do, I can show you how you can spend your points to do it.

Now, you may not have enough points to actually buy all of the powers you want, but I'll show you how to buy them in game terms...with very, very few exceptions. Like, true omnipotence would be hard to represent in Champions terms (but name me a game that can represent it well and I'll bow down to you).

As to Ars Magica...simply beautiful. Best fantasy magic system ever...period (imo).

I've played quite a few of those, and amazingly, that includes HoL (and yes, we realized it wasn't really intended to be played.

A game that had always been on my list (and I have no clue if it's still in print) is Kult, but I apparently will get to play it in a PBP in a few weeks.. Yay!

I've had d20 Modern since the day it came out, and I have yet to run or play a game of it. One of the main reasons we're trying to run these games is to justify the purchases we've made. :p

I really want to buy Dark*Matter, but since I have the old Alternity version and the Polyhedron article, I don't know if I can justify it. But I want it. That, and the Conspiracy X 2e for Unisystem... which I also can't justify yet because I have the GURPS 3e Conspiracy X book.
