catsclaw227, Doom of Listonshire is written by Ari Marmell, however it is not by Mongoose, it is a Necromancer Games adventure that was published through Kenzer.

My Bad -- I am aware of the fact it's a Necro Adventure, but nice catch anyway Olaf. I am a big fan of the Necro adventures, mostly.

More Information on the "Temple of Ra Accursed by Set."

An old Judges' Guild module, and at 16 pages, the title is longer than the adventure ;) :D .
Even more information: it is not a very good module, but it comes with instructions on reconstructing it with LEGOs (or something close to it)! :uhoh:

Ah, yes now I remember it. I recall building it with legos long, long ago. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Looks like I will have to put the Coils of Set on my eventual buy list.

Actually Treebore, while it has been revised, it wasn't a 3.5 revision. The revised version is still most definitely a 3.0 version. I think they just did some new maps and fixed some of the errors in the stat blocks.

Looks like your right. The wizard still has Alchemy as a skill. Its been about two years since I have played 3.5, so what else about this module make it non 3.5 compliant? I don't remember the rules particulars that well anymore. With my current "distant memories" the Alchemy skill is the only 3.0 ism that I notice.

Phil has a point. While Orcus in Enemies of My Enemy is tough, the RA version is arguably the most toughest 3.5/d20 version around.

However that version doesn't have access or can use The Last Word like Dungeon Orcus can. (Which in retrospect makes sense. It would be a tad over kill if Orcus could blow through the PCs with that on a DC 35-50...)

Voted RHoD. Just started, but it is AWESOME. Although very dangerous.

Not seeing any love for Shattered Gates of Slaughtergarde, but I'm almost done running that, and we've had a blast. The first two dungeons aren't anything too special, but the last one is pretty sweet with some real cool encounters. The thing with this one though is the great setting. So many awesome places, hooks, and ideas to use in the valley, and two cool organizations the PC's can join. My group did it as a CN (really closer to evil than good) band of thieves, and had a fun time stealing from the various places in the valley and working with the Ebon Cabal.

I think this one is a lot better if you convert it and add a lot of stuff other than the 3 dungeons. We'll be in the valley for a long time. :)

And you can never go wrong with a Dungeon Crawl Classic!

As for an adventure to get, my vote goes to Barakus right now. ~~~ I'm running it right now, and have included an old AEG adventure and Urban Decay from Dungeon 138 to bring the city more to life.

Just curious ... which one are you using?

The old AEG adventure is The Crypt of St Bethesda, published for 3.0 in their tall thin 16-page book format, then compiled into a large tome and revised for 3.5. I set it under an abandoned Temple of ST Cuthbert which will come into play later.

Is this in the Compilation Adventure I or Adventure II? Both of these are really good, and I think they were compiled/edited/worked on (or something like that) by one of our EnWorlders- I want to say DM_Jeff.... but it could be someone else.
I would say that these two, plus the Foul Locales books from Mystic Eye (originally), are some of the best mini-adventure books around, and they were mostly written for 3.0 except for the revisions mentioned above.
