Which out-of-print RPGs do you still play?

Gamma World (not the d20 version, which I consider to have lost the entire flavor of the original game)

I agree. You should check out the very good mini-game Omega World in Dungeon/Polyhedorn #94. It is an excellent d20 conversion of Gamma World. By Jonathon Tweet, too.

One I wish I could play-

Universe
by SPI. Released right before the company went under, this game was a SERIOUS threat to Traveller in terms of playability and quality. Newtonian space combat (Delta V system), robots, planet generating system, a realistic star chart- this game had it all...except time to find its market.

If you like sci-fi gaming, look for this one on ebay or some such. Its worth it.

Someone mentioned Battlelords of the 23rd Century... I LOVED THAT GAME!!!!! It definitely was not a game to be taken seriously, but just for sheer fun, we had a blast with it. Most everything was percentile based, and the weapons... dear gawd!!!! They detailed everything from a sling stone to a black hole generator! Only thing seriously lacking was a space combat system, I was supposed to get the beta rules after paying something like $50 for them, but the developer got very sick and I never saw it. From what I have been told, SSDC bought all the rights to the game (minus the space rules) shortly thereafter. You can still order the books online.

I haven't been around these boards in ages, but I couldn't resist this topic. Especially when I saw...

Villains and Vigilantes.

Amen, Brother. :) Actually V&V (2nd edition) is my game of choice. I'm currently running a "Super-Spies"/Hellboyish style of a game called DIVISION ZERO.

As for other OOP games that I would run if I had the chance...

FASA's Dr Who
Marvel Super-Heroes (Advanced Version)

There are other games but they aren't out of print (yet).

Cheers,
Tim

I was looking at my stuff and realised that I've still got my copy of Metamorphosis Alpha, really tempted to break that out for a small adventure. (1 - 3 sessions).

Hey, is that the Jim Ward one with the dayglo jungle breaking into a metallic sci-fi room on the cover? That was the first RPG I ever owned! We had *lots* of fun with that one!
