Infinity Vine - grows extremely rapidly, 10 cubic feet/round, covers ships and weighs them down, traps slow creatures (Spelljammer MC1)
Kampfult - see Tome of Horrors
Killer Tree - 6 HD, grapples with branches and swallows (OD&D/Mystara)
Mold, Chromatic - underground spore-producing fungus that fascinates victims, anyone who approaches breathes in a spore cloud and dies to become a new host (Monstrous Compendium Annual 4/Dragon #227)
Noran - 9-HD, looks like a petrified treant, fires rocks from its mouth (Dragon Mountain/Monstrous Compendium Annual 1)
Phooka - 4-HD, tree spirits that inhabit wild forests, switches between tree form and goat-faced man, spell-like abilities (Dragon #57)
Pilfer Vine - sentient vines with a habit of stealing bright shiny items, can constrict, sometimes used as guardian creature (Dragon #101)
Pitcher Plant, Giant - 6-HD carnivorous plant filled water, grabs with vines to drown and deal acid damage, tremorsense (Dragon #89)
Poisonweed - 10-HD weed with flowers that release poison clouds (Dark Sun MC 1)
Quickwood - see Tome of Horrors
Razorvine - extraplanar vine with leaves as sharp as razors, grows all over buildings and structures, deadly to fall into or move through (Planescape MC2)
Rekeihs - 4-HD mobile bulbous carnivorous plant, suction cup tentacle attack rips skin off, resistance to cold (Dragon #94)
Sand Cactus - 5-HD creature that hides under the sand, leaves barbed blood-draining needles above surface (Dark Sun MC 1)
Seed, Brain - a strongly psionic plant that hates wizards, infest victims with seeds, drains life (Dark Sun MC2)
Serpentweed, Giant - HD 9, carnivorous water plant with tremorsense (OD&D/Mystara)
Sirenflower - HD 5, carnivorous fungus that draws victims with scent and lights (OD&D/Mystara)
Snake, Serpent Vine - cross between a giant constrictor snake and a plant, lives in subterranean forests, constrict, spell-like abilities (Monstrous Compendium Annual 2)
Spider Cactus - 3-HD, fires needles from the cactus to paralyze, drag, and feed (Dark Sun MC 1)
Sporacle - HD 7, looks like a beholder but attacks with tentacles instead (OD&D/Mystara) - i think this one is a plant...
Strangle Vine - creeper vine that grapples and strangles victims (OD&D/Mystara)
Strangle weed - see Tome of Horrors
Strangling Vines - does what it sounds like... (Dark Sun MC 1)
Sword Grass - plant slashes at anything walking through it (Dragon #167)
Tree, Singing - 12-HD lures creatures in with its singing to fall asleep, then drains blood (Monstrous Compendium Annual 1)
Vampire Moss - hangs from tree branches and drains life from creatures that come within 30 feet (Monstrous Compendium Annual 1)
Venus Fly-Trap, Giant - it is what it sounds like! :) 2-HD, can swallow up to Small opponents (Dragon #89)
Witherweed - see Tome of Horrors
Zombie Plant - 3-HD slightly psionic shrub that enslaves creatures who eat its berries (Dark Sun MC 1)

i wasn't sure - notice my note above. :) the name and a few features of the monster seem to suggest a possible plant connection...

Btw, the Pooka should be a fey, not a plant.

phooka, different creature, but you're right that it may be a fey instead of a plant. this doesn't have to be limited to creatures with the Plant type. ;)

Of course it doesn't have to be limited to plant creatures, only to creatures with a plant connection. :D

Btw, I like the idea of the Sporacle to be related to the gas spore...
