I used to DM for a whole punk rock band and their friends, so that group was like The Young Ones. I also had a group that was like the Dick van Dyke show -- the rogue or the mage would always get in some goofy quandry, "Oh, Rob!"

You will probably take offense to this, but what the hell...

How OLD are you?!!

Our group seems to be a cross between Roseanne and the Cosby show. Leaning toward Cosby I suppose. We generally don't dance or eat pudding, but there is a lot of laughs and disagreements aren't usually too in depth or prone to violence.

Now our discussions about Thomas the Tank Engine on the Island of Mordor get rather interesting......

The Griffins from Family Guy.

Us too :)

My 2 1/2 year old daughter is totally into Stewie. We are training her to say "I'm an evil genius!", "I call upong the dark side", and "I have a devious countermeasure".

I'm definately Peter, although I'm smarter, less of a sexist, a better driver and father. Actually the only trait we share is that we're both fat :)

EDIT

Do'h I thought this was asking about what sitcom my FAMILY was like

As for a gaming group...hmm, I have to think about that :)

Eight is Enough

We have eight people at the table (DM plus 7 players) and at times we get a tad cranky because of it (add to that an 8th player that wants to join).

But even after all the bickering and whining they end up a family (though somewhat disfunctional at times).

The Bunkers... as in Archie and Edith and Meathead, etc...

My grandfather is Archie, Grandmother Edith, mother Gloria and (Step) Father Mike. I was 6 or 7 when this show started and was convinced that my grandmother was Jean Stapleton ( Edith). I even made them sing the theme song. :)

OOPS! I thought this was about Family,

Our group is like the Regan White House.

I'd say we normally run the gambit between Rosane and the Sopranos. Mostly due to this one character who makes life really miserable for everyone else but last session we spiraled off into OZ territory after my character tried to stab the aformentioned druid in in sleep. It ended with everyone sitting around the campfire fingering weapons and pointing fingers.

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale
A tale of a fateful trip
That started from this tropic port
Aboard this tiny ship

The mate was a mighty sailor man
The Skipper brave and sure
Five passengers set sail that day
For a three-hour tour, a three-hour tour

The weather started getting rough
The tiny ship was tossed
If not for the courage of the fearless crew
The Minnow would be lost, the Minnow would be lost...

Hmmm, not a family sit com but...

For families the Steven's from Bewitched maybe, or the Ricardos from I love Lucy...
