Which publishers do these things?

There was a publisher that did adventures with different variations. "Holier than thou," for instance, when the party was heavy on paladins and clerics. I forget who does those.

There was another publisher that included "Alertness Factor" in their adventures. If you did such-and-such a thing nearby, the alertness factor would be such-and-such a level, and the party would encounter such-and-such troops.

I'd appreciate it if I could get these answers soon, as I'm placing orders with Derek (TalonComics).

Okay, I just found (not two minutes after posting...) that Fiery Dragon uses the Alertness Factor. It's in "To Stand on Hallowed Ground" and "The Giant's Skull." Is it in any of their other adventures? I'm picking through the FDP modules, to figure out what I already own, and what interests me enough to buy....

The answer to this one is Thunderhead Games and their Interludes series of adventure/sourcebooks. How do I know? I wrote them. :D

That'd be Thunderhead, in "Interludes: Brief Expeditions to Bluffside".

How does this differ from the Bluffside city book? I've got the city nbook and am real happy with it. :)

Yeah, yeah, yeah. :) I just (again, two minutes ago) opened Interludes to finally print it, and saw that it was it. No wonder I couldn't find it among my purchases. :)

Interludes is a series of adventures for getting the PCs to Bluffside. It's pretty darn good. And the scaling is a brilliant idea. Now if we could just convince more publishers to do that....

I think it's out in a print version, and I think it's offered in a bundle with Bluffside.

So what about all the web enhancements offered in the end of Interludes?

Ancient Evils: Dec 2001
The Thorne Faerie's Abode: Jan 2002
Hunt for the Hammers: Feb 2002 (requires password from Bluffside)
Leap of Faith: April 2002

The Thorne Faerie's Abode is out already and with the packed Bluffside the enhancements got pushed back a bit...we are currently working on them now...Jeff is, and he will have a better idea of when we can expect them to us for editing and final approval..........
Jeff?:D
