Warning: I'm feeling rather cynical at the moment.
I'm way too burned out on superheroes, and the idea of two more reboots of franchises that have failed me before feels more like a homework assignment than something to be excited about. Jurrasic Park has already beaten the dead horse so much it's a hole in the ground. Brad Pitt is at least 20 years too old to pull off an F1 driver. Tom Cruise ain't exactly a spring chicken either, but at least his franchise is attempting to retire. And I consider "live action" remakes of artistic animation to be the same level of respectability as the craze of colorizing movies that happened a few decades ago (i.e. gross).
28 Years Later has some good looking previews, though, so there's hope there. And I'm willing to give Naked Gun a try.
