Since I´m planning on a campaign which the main transpoert are seaships and maybe airships, I look for something to replace a paladins special mount.

Since sea travel, lots of isles, coastial features and such, mounted transport or combat isn`t really an useful ressource or asset?
More often than not the Horses will be hindrances to transport?

Griffon?
Hippogriff?
Giant mutant sea bass?

Really, the paladin's mount isn't that big a deal, unless the character goes to the trouble of maxing out on the mounted combat feats. Lots of paladins manage to slog through dungeons and the Underdark without the benefit of a mount. Unless the player makes a fuss, you could probably just ignore the issue.

Horses aren't the only mounts available to Paladins. Check out Defenders of the Faith for more. Specifically:

5th level
Camel
Heavy Warhorse
Light Warhorse

6th level
Heavy Celestial Warhorse
Light Celestial Warhorse
Dire Wolf
Hippogriff
Large Monstrous Spider
Large Shark
Unicorn

7th level
Dire Boar
Dire Wolverine
Giant Eagle
Giant Owl
Pegasus
Rhinoceros
Sea Lion

8th level
Dire Lion
Griffon

So if the Paladin is in an ocean-based campaign, a flying mount or a water-based mount would be of great use to him. Specifically: Hippogriff, Large Shark, Giant Eagle, Giant Owl, Pegasus, Sea Lion, Griffon. Any one of those would make a great mount in a sea-based campaign.

Also in DotF is the Holy Liberator PrC, which has a celestial companion, which is sort of like a cross between the paladin's mount and a wizards familiar. So he could have a hunting eagle "mount" that would help the party with scouting and combat.
