It's GenCon time. It's a time when the boards go pretty quiet, and there's no real reason to refresh the forum you're on to see new posts -- there aren't any. The PbPs slow down a little, and ENWorld becomes closer to an idyllic valley, with old folks chatting about whose arthritis is worse.

In any case, I wanna PbP, dammit. I remember it being good fun before my unfortunately hiatus from the boards, and when I come back, there's hardly any open spots: good for PbP at large, baaaad for Dave. So I propose: well, I'm not entirely sure what I propose. I guess I could run a game, but a combination of class starting on Monday and having almost exclusively DMed, without playing, for around six years now sort of casts a pallor over that. I'd love if players who are also looking for a game would make themselves heard in this thread, and maybe some kind soul will run a game.
So, waddya think? Who wants to game? What system? What genre?

I haven't quite got round to posted a recruitment thread yet, but like I said, it'll be up in a day or two.
I'm not sure what else my character would need.. He's meant to be self-efficient, but I can imagine he can't do everything... He would never get the trust of anyone human... So maybe a "face" to help convince them wouldn’t be uncalled for… The familiar is interesting, he would have one, and I’ve always told people to do something unique when presented the chance of doing a solo game.
