Anyone who's willing to take a weapon that deals 1d2 points of subdual damage, as their primary weapon, has got some stones.

It was my Bard's primary weapon from levels 1-6. At level 7 I got a MW Whip dagger, at level 9 I got in magiced to +1, and then at level 12 I got it +1, Acid burst. And that was my main weapon till we ended the game at level 24. I was a 20th level bard/4th level lasher.

sweet!

a nice little lasher powergame idea...

rapid shot

ambidex, two-gun shooting (dragonstar), improved two gun shooting

and the lashers rapid shot-like ability.

Sweetness!

Two gun shooting??

My question is... WHY use two gun shooting, why not just use two weapon fighting/ambidextierity. It doens't say anywhere in the combat chapter or in the feat chapter that you need to use two melee weapons with amb and two wep fighting. Why use dragonstar if DnD is percectly fine??

Check out the special text for the heavy crossbow, PHB, page 100. The relevent information is that no, two-weapon fighting does not apply to ranged weapons.
