Whirlwind Attack in Heavy Armour?

Whirlwind attack requires Spring Attack as a
prerequisite. A character with the Spring Attack feat cannot make a spring attack in heavy armour.

Can a character in heavy armour make a whirlwind
attack (assuming that she has the feat)?

Opinions are welcome. Official rulings are also
good. Just state which your reply is when you post, please.

Good question. Since light armor is not a prereq for spring attack, then it should work fine as a prereq for whirlwind.

Contrast this to improved bull rush and power attack. If your str ever goes below 13+, you lose power attack until you get it back (13+ str is a prereq for power attack). Therefore, you also lose improved bull rush.

Official ruling, I believe is that it can be done in Heavy Armor. Heavy armor prevents one fromn doing a Spring attack, but they don't loose the feat. Onlt the loose of a requirement would make the feat unavialible.
