Text Effects
I don't know if there's a reference on the board or not. There probably is, but I don't know it. But let me tell you about the tricks I've learned: I'll substitute the first Bracket with a Brace, so that you can see what I've done:
{color=red]text to appear in
red.[/color] See that syntax? That's what is used for many things, "[text effect] text to be affected [/text effect]. Works for text colors, as above, italics {i],[/i],
underline {u],[/u],
bold {b], [/b], and
strikethrough {s], [/s]. There may be others, but that ought to get you started. Oh yeah, and to see the available colors, just look at the pull down menu in the Reply to Thread window, by clicking on the arrow. NO SPACES BEFORE, AFTER, OR WITHIN A COLOR NAME! So, Dark Slate Blue is entered as darkslateblue.
If you see something that you don't know how to do, but want to learn how to do it, all you have to do is reply to the message and quote the message in your reply, and when the window opens for your reply you'll be able to see all the codes embedded in the original message.
