Why is Planescape the top secret project?

Because WW has made lots of money selling clanbooks over the years, or tribebooks, or whatever. All of their World of Darkness games feature all of these separate little cliques, and they fight amongst themselves.

IT'S THE FACTIONS, PEOPLE!

A year from now, there will be "Faction Book: Anarchists," "Faction Book: Dustmen", etc.

Better than any other gaming company, WW knows how to translate in-game politics and power struggles into book after book after book.

Yeah, I'm sure of it. White Wolf is going to publish Planescape.

I agree. Both because I find it unlikely that WW would license Pokémon or Harry Potter, seeing how one has been done already and one is impossible without the author agreeing, and because that even if they did I would have no interest in those licenses.
