Who am I?

Cedric

First Post
Recently it occurred to me that I am not that familiar with all of you and you are most likely not that familiar with me.

I post under the name Cedric, cause that is my highest level 3rd Edition D&D character. He's an 18th character level Priest/Artificer of Boccob.

I live in Austin, TX and I do Portables Tech Support for Dell.

I am male and 30 years old. Been playing RPG's pretty religiously for about 12-13 years now and in that time have booked TONS of play time. Usually 2-3 times a week.

I spent 6 years in the Navy as a Nuclear Plant Reactor Operator...most of that time was spent as an Instructor.

I have a daughter, 2 years old, named Emily (she's the cutest!).

<shrugs> Just realized today that a lot of people who post here are people I admire and respect and I don't know that much about them. So I thought I'd share.

Thanks Cedric. There ar ea lot of people here and very few do we ever get to know outside of the bits and pieces they post here. Darkness called me on it a few weeks ago. But to most, I'm that guy with the insane post count. :D

Edit: Might as well.

I live and grew up in the greater Columbus area. I work at a bank and have internet access from work. That's why I post so much. I'm 27, single, and have been gaming for over 20 years. I just moved into a single apartment and I'm starting a new short lived campaign Friday. :D

Salutations,

Hmm- I am not sure if this betrays my better judgement or not. heh.

Furn Darkside was the last in a string of characters on a mud I played/administrated. He was the closest thing to a sane member of an evil inbred family of thieves and necromancers. He finished at 51st level thief (the highest on the mud), and was the son of his uncle Sagan. (The last evil character I played, heh.)

I live in Poughkeepsie, New York. I am a data analyst / professional geek for an administrative office at a college. I also do consulting.

I am male and 26 years old. I have been gaming since I was 7 years old, and have never grown tired of it.

I grew up in a rough home in a rougher neighborhood, but worked my way through school and college. I have accomplished more then most of my blood line put together.

I am a strict hermit- so don't have friends or family, but I am never short of opinions. haha.

I'm a 28 year old male. I grew up in Shrewsbury, MA, then moved to the Boston Area, then to NYC, and now I live in Redwood City, CA, which is between San Francisco and Palo Alto. Next July, We're moving to Dover, Delaware for my wife's new job.

I stay home with my two kids (Boy 3, girl 10 months), and do stuff like web mastering (one site I do is for a group called the International Society for Paranormal Research - if you're into that sort of thing and want a job, go take their Psi Test ;) ) and accounting to pay the bills. Before staying home with the kids, I was a history teacher. I'm also working on my first d20 book, which I'm pretty excited about.

My offically non-gaming, Ob/GYN wife has recently gotten into strategy board games and Neverwinter Nights, so I have a wee bit of hope.

i am the last bastion of pure darkness on the west coast of florida!! MUHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!! THG Hal quivers when i drive by!!

Really? Where precisely? We live off Well's Branch, within spitting distance of Pflugerville.

Let's see. Born in New York, grew up in Houston, moved to Austin a tad over a year ago so my wife could go to grad school. I have a stomach condition that makes working a "real" schedule difficult, which is why it's a darn good thing I can work from home with my freelancing. :)

I'm a freelance writer in the RPG field--to date, I've worked for (and am working with) White Wolf, Sword & Sorcery, and MonkeyGod Enterprises, and I'm hoping to do some work for a few other companies in the near future, including Mystic Eye. (You listening, Doug?! :D) I've also written seven novels, but haven't as of yet managed to publish any of 'em.

Edit: Oh, yeah, screen name. I first used "Mouseferatu, Rodent of the Dark" on the White Wolf forums, where it seemed appropriate. Since then, it just sort of stuck. A lot of people know the name, now, so I use it everywhere.

I might as well post here. Dunno if anyone really cares or not... ;)

I'm 29 years old, live in East Nassau, NY (about 45 miles outside of Albany) and I work at a local Internet Help Desk. I've been gaming since sometime aroung 1985ish.
