Who can dispel maze? And what will happen then?

1) Who can dispel maze?

The target of Maze spell is "One creature". Thus, at least, the target creature can attempt "targeted dispel" on himself, or on the maze spell itself if he identify it by some means, right?

Can he try "Area Dispel" also?

How about other characters not in the maze. Can they try to dispel the maze spell?

2) What will happen if dispelled?

Well, it is obvious that the maze disappears. Then what will happen to the victim? Can he return to the original plane?

And, if the victim of the maze uses "Area Dispel" and just a part of the maze disappears, what will happen then?

Other people can't dispel it, because it's not there. It's off in an extra dimensional space.

However, I suppose the person inside it could try to dispel it (it doesn't say you can't, but it is a little odd to think about). I would think that it getting dispelled would be just like what happens when it disappears at the end of the spell - the person inside is spit out from whence he came.

Yeah. When something is dispelled, the spell ends.

So the creature would pop out of the maze.

I think a dispel targetted at the point of the maze would end it, kind of like rope trick when you dispel the gateway to the extraplanar space.

The difference is - there's no gateway. The person is transported to an extradimensional space, according to the description of the spell, it doesn't sound like there's any link to the place where the spell was cast.
