Good plan. Also, suits me better.DM-Rocco said:I am lowering the cost on my website for downloads of the pdf to $4.95 for the premiere issue to help people who want to review it and i wil address pdf subscriptions starting with issue #1 later.
I didn't think $8 was that much, but if the Dragon magazine had about the same content and they go for $4.95, I guess that is a good gauge to go by, for starters.
I hope so too, but really, I am in it for the love of the game, and tha lack of the DragonAus_Snow said:Good plan. Also, suits me better.Personally, I believe that around 50-67% of the print version's cover price is fair. If companies start charging higher than about 70% (WotC, f'rex, at 100%) then I simply refuse to buy any PDFs they put out. Simple as that.
Anyway, I would like to buy a print copy, or maybe even subscription, but I'm trying to ween myself off buying books and stuff from overseas. The postage costs have been horrendous sometimes. If I was in the US, or even Canada perhaps, I'd probably go for it.
Long story short, I'll pick up the PDF and see what it's like.Hope the magazine does really well, by the way.
DM-Rocco said:hah, now you have to buy it, I have an adventure, and it takes up about 30 pages. That should give you plenty of ideas.![]()

I am one man, not a large company, I can't afford to just let everything go for $2, sorry.
Yes, I want everyone to read it, but I have to at least break even while doing so. Actually, I did have some hard costs going into it, so really I need to do more than break even.
I am trying to get ahold of the folks at enworld and Paizo to see if I can have them host it for download. If they don't charge to much, I think that will help reduce my pdf distribution costs. Maybe I might then be able to lower the cost then.

I lowered the pdf to $4.95 and I think that is fair. I hope that will lure you in.Treebore said:I didn't say $2 for everything, just issue 0 as a "introductory, try it out, take it for a ride" price.
Thae adventure takes up 30 pages? Yeah, that may very well entice me.
