Who is your favorite PC?

Gurinrold Alashear
Dwarven Blackguard 5th/Paladin 12th/Monk 5th.

He is favorite npc from my homebrew game! He is the worst evil in the land, and the only epic character in my world so far!

That's like asking which of your children is your favorite...

I guess I'll choose myself, Thornir Alekeg. A Dwarven priest of Dumathain (sp? its been too long). He had one of the best defined personalities I've ever had in a character and the RPing just came naturally when I played him. Unfortunately I started playing him late in college and didn't get to play him for very long. Several years later I tried to recreate him, but somehow the mojo was gone. I could not recreate the group I was playing with in college and the interaction of the different characters, so he just was not the same.

Rhal Sorenson

An elf in the wrong place at the wrong time, he had an interesting life. While celebrating the end of his apprenticeship to a local hedge wizard at a tavern, he got really drunk and was captured by slavers on his way home. He woke up in a mine in Thay, where he had the good fortune to meet a human slave by the name of Arclite.

The two set up an escape together, along with a couple of other prisoners, and began a life of adventure. The biggest adventure, of course, being to get out of the country before they were recaptured.

A natural archer, Rhal eventually combined wizardry and archery and became an Arcane Archer. During an altercation with a cabal of assassins that resulted in some inadvertent time travel, Rhal met the love of his life -- a female druid from several hundred years past. After saving her life and returning to the present, Rhal found the older elf and spent many years researching the magics to return her to (relative) youth.

Rhal finally retired with his newfound love in a castle that he and his old friend Arclite had restored after killing the former (lich) resident.

---------------

Rhal was a lot of fun, had a great rapport with the Rogue/Fighter/Shadowdancer in the party, and was MURDER with a bow in his hand.

All in all, one of the most fun characters I've ever played.

By far, the pessimistic Paladin, Sir Tinley Willdye. "Certainly we will vanquish the evil overlord, though I fear it will mean our end.."

:)

I am playing a rogue I enjoy a lot in a game system named Ironclaw. He grew up knowing nothing but his thieve's guild and is now trying to repent for a life time of crime, and failing horridly. He can't seem to make the right decision.

Zhangar Scorncall, a dwarven fighter/mana armor pilot (a homebrew class; mana armor is basically the Magi-Tek armor from FF6 with claws). Personality-wise, he was a cross between Zhang Fei from Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Sagara Sousuke from Full Metal Panic!, though he heavily favored the Zhang Fei side. He'd be a straight fighter if I remade him by core rules, and his weapon of choice was his fists and his armor spikes. Much to my own amusement, he was much more dangerous outside of his "mech" than he was when he was piloting it.

The campaign ended by L8, but by that time Zhangar had successfully grappled ogres, hill giants, a pyrohydra, a mind flayer, and a juvenile blue dragon.

The DM had warned me not to grapple the mind flayer ahead of time; his consternation when I did it anyways and killed the slimy bugger (as opposed to my dwarf getting his somewhat-pickled brain ripped out) was great.

I mostly dm. My favorite pc that I've ever played... er... um... that's a hard one. I really like Yolanda, the crazy epic-level alienist I'm playing right now... and I very much enjoyed Drendlin, my young runaway noble girl who was aiming at being a duelist... Alas, poor Drendlin was the first member of our party to die; the damned flesh golem got her. :( :uhoh:

There are a few others I've really had fun with, too.
