I'm in Arlington, just West of DC on the good side of the Potomac. Though I coach crew during the Summer months, August is winding-down time, so my days are free.

And I'm definitely up for a DC ENWorld BBQ, though my sad apartment can't host it.

I live in Damascus MD. I'll be at GenCon too. I have to work on Monday the 20th and the rest of the week but I could get together during the evening. I'll be at GenCon till Sunday last slot then I'm flying back to National airport.

DC area here (Silver Spring, MD)... I could probably gather a decent crew (my wife, some others from our regular group) for a cookout and bring a covered dish or two. Yum!

Queen Dop, I posted months ago in the DC/MD/NoVA gameday thread and then kinda dropped into lurk mode due to RL busy-ness. Seems like Morrus' visit would be a good opportunity to expand the local network, since I have yet to meet many of you ENWorlders in person.

No, not The Block!!! I've only read about The Block, never been there, honestly!!! Not even when I was single, in the US Army and stationed at Fort Meade, MD! Honestly! And I'm not protesting too much!!!
