Who lives in Washington DC?

From what I can tell, Russ has landed in DC, but we have not. Our flight was supposed to leave over an hour ago, but the traffic on the runway has been spotty at best. I havn't been able to get in contact with Russ. If anyone sees him, will they let him know we're stuck and trying to get back to DC as fast as possible?

If for some awful reason, we're stuck here overnight, would anyone be able to offer housing for this evening?

I'll post if we ever board the plane.

Personally I'd rate Willard's BBQ as the best that I've found in Northern Virginia and it is a stone's throw from Dulles. Take 28S from the Toll Road and take a left on Willard Rd. It is on the left hand side near the Expo Center. While their pulled pork is top notch, steer clear of the Brisket. It has always been hit or miss. They certainly don't skimp on the portions... you get about a pound of meat on each sandwich for about $6 for the combo (sandwich and two sides).

Have you seen the new one near Dulles? They've got a Concorde, the Enola Gay, the Enterprise Space Shuttle, and the SR-71 all inside it. Personally I like it a bit better. AND it is close to Willard's BBQ (You have to get on 28 anyway just to get to the museum exit).

Attention, y'all! It's official: The Universe and I will be hosting a BBQ for Morrus on Saturday August 25th and, if you live in the DC area, you are welcome to attend. There will be food, drink, and maybe even some fireworks that we have left over from the 4th of July (but I make no promises).

We've got room to game if anyone wants to run something and a giant television with a Wii if anyone wants to, you know, Wii it up.

While you are not required to bring anything, I'll happily accept any donations to the party including: drinks, side dishes, salads, and/or desserts.

TerraDave, Rodrigo - Al and I would love to hook up. We're planning on being in the Zoo area tomorrow (Wednesday) during the day; nothing planned for the evening. Thursday we're headed to Arlington Cemetary with Xath and Mik during the day; again nothing planned in the evening. Nothing planned (yet) during the day Friday, although I think we're going to the pirate bar where Xath works for dinner and beer in the evening. Saturday night is Queen D's BBQ, and Sunday we fly out.

So, if, having read all of that, you'd like to hook up during one of the empty spots, or join in with us on one of the planned spots, let us know!
