Al and I would love to hook up. We're planning on being in the Zoo area (. . .)

Don't get too close to the zoo. If they get ahold of Al, you'll have a hell of a time breaking him out.

I'm happy to report that the zoo expressed no interest in Al or Morrus. Apparently, they are not sufficiently edible and/or cuddly, accents notwithstanding. There was a bit of worry when one of the tigers looked at Al like he was a particularly tasty gazelle, but fortunately we escaped intact.

I have put them on Metro bound back towards Xath.

They were definitely interested in a visit to the Brick tomorrow, so anyone that wants to come, please post so we can make plans.

The zoo was fun! Pandas were cool. It was great to hang out with you, Rodrigo.

We'll be at the Brick thing tomorrow night (Thurs), the pirate dinner on Friday (pirates!), and the BBQ on Saturday.

Ermm... where's this Brick place?

Likewise. I'm glad you enjoyed the zoo, and I'm grateful that the animals finally decided to come out of hiding. I was starting to worry I'd have to break out the hand puppets or something.

Metro directions to the Brick:

Exit the Dupont Circle Red Line metro stop at Q St., veer left off the escalator and walk two blocks down Q St. Cross Massachusetts Ave and veer left onto 22nd St. We are a half block down the road on the left, directly across the street from the church between P and Q St. The address is 1523 22nd St NW.

Or, I can meet you at the Q St. Metro exit. (The Dupont Circle stop is the one right before the Zoo station you used yesterday.)

In the interest of giving everyone a day of advanced notice, I propose:

Brickskeller Thursday Night!

I can show up there fairly early, or later....maybe others have thoughts on this?

This the current website:

I hope to see you all there. Let me know about when is best.

Allright, at least Morrus, Al, Rodrigo, and I will be there. All welcome.

Say 6:30 or so?

Well, I'm working tonight, but if it's as slow as it was yesterday, I'll try to duck out and meet you guys down there.

If I can't though, you guys had better make it up Friday or Saturday so I can see you. :)

I was starting to think the husband and I were the only two gamers in Odenton. Nice to know I'm wrong.
Are you kidding? We have an entire gaming group of about 15 in Severn (which of course is just across the road...metaphorically speaking)
Liz, I can confirm that the family and I will be there, can't wait.
