Who Plan to Buy the LoTR Special Edition DVD trilogy boxed set?

Definitely not. I have the theatrical versions of all three, plus the extended editions of the first two. Just the extended edition of RotK for me.

(Like many, I misread the poll. However, I did realize my mistake before I voted. Whew.)

Most definitely will not. Still mulling over whether or not to buy the RotK EE. I dislike that movie the more I watch it, and I'm struggling with feeling sorry I bought the TT disc set, and it was better than RotK, I think.

But I'll probably buy it. You know, just so I can stop looking at my shelf and thinking "66%"

Nope, I already own the other two EE's. Though I will be buying RotK EE with the Minas Tirith model to round out my collection.

Nope, won't be getting the trilogy boxed set, as I already own the regular & extended editions of the movies. I will be getting the extended RoTK when it comes out, but on it's own, not in the trilogy pack.

same here. Is there any point in buying the trilogy SE if you already have the other two EEs? Does the trilogy SE have anything extra worth talking about? Quite frankly, I only bought the EEs for the extra movie scenes, and really don't care about the special features.....

I'd rather pick up the slipcase to put my EE collection altogether in one neat place.

Is there any way to order/acquire such an item?

Count me with the 'no' group. Just the EE Return of the King. I think the only difference is that this box set and an additional box to put all the extended sets in.
