Yeah, that was me. And actually, it was more like 13 years ago. I think the AOL area died in '95 or '96.

Later. I graduated in '95; didn't get online to AOL until '96 or so. Probably '98 - it really died around the time of the "printer difficulties", but the AOL boards were still the source of information (or disinformation) at the time.

In the interest of being just like everyone else, I should say that not only did I have the pleasure of knowing Iquander on AOL, I ALSO met him at GenCon (1999) AND had dinner with him and Lisa Stevens. I don't remember anything about the dinner, but it was probably fun. And Erik Mona and Lisa Stevens were there.

I think someone (Russ Taylor or Samwise) has a photo of that post-seminar beer party, if it's the one you're mentioning. I saw it floating around Facebook not too long ago.
