But barring those, I'll take Maxfield Parrish (this would require a time machine or a raise dead spell, niether of which I currently have access to).

I second Frank Franzetta, gotta love what created within his hand and then put down on paper.

For a 3e feel I would go for Todd Lockwood or Sam Wood though, they defined 3e in their Techno-Fantasy style which I happen to love
