I'm taking about this version. You get the mini-series as well as the complete season one. Anywho...

BSG is one of the only really good science fiction shows still producing new episodes at the moment. Just like with the Firefly repeats I think it's important to support the show. With any lluck we'll get more good science fiction (like in the 90's) down the road. Personally, I'm looking forward to re-watching the eps in widescreen.

Same here. I almost picked up the set you mentioned until I found out about the better set coming out next month.

finally!!!! ... I've missed the mini-series on tv so many times (and for some reason when I taped it there was a power outage, I grabbed the really old tape, or used the crappy vcr).

I've never really watched season 1, ... now I need to convince my SO to let me be for several hours
