Going and staying accross the street. Staying downtown is worth the extra coin. Had I a choice of going every year and staying on the edge of town or going every-other year and staying downtown I'd honestly choose every-other year. luckily I don't have to choose. I styaed out the first couple of times I went to save some cash but it's my vacation dagnabbit. If you stay with friends and split teh costs the hotel prices come way down anyway. I'm going with the SO once again though so I get to foot the whole bill for the room but even then I've found it's worth it to stay DT.
