I blame it on the Bugs Bunny episode that casts Yosemite Sam as a Scottsman.

In my game they're German if anything. Das Ring des Niebelungen and all that.

Heh, there was a Bugs episode where Yosemite was German too. I think he was the Red Baron.

Bugs: "Oh look. Here comes the little wiener schnitzel now."

Yosemite can't be German. His moustache is too long. His hair color is wrong. And he's short. Aryan race, my brownhole. No offense intended for such a "humble" culture. :p

Of course they are. They love themselves way too much, they'll shag anything, they dress like christmas trees and everybody hates them. Sounds French to me.

Heee
Sun elves/Gray elves love themselves too much
Moon elves/High elves will shag anything (gregarious much)
Wood elves will dress like a christmas tree in order to blend into the surroundings.
Everyone hates them because there are way too many subraces.

I don't get the Scottish dwarves. In my games they tend toward more Teutonic cultural influences.

Dwarves aren't Scottish -- they just sound alike. ;)

PS: Warcraft III quote: "What do you mean what kind accent this is? It's a TROLL accent. I swear ja makin me crazy!"
