I used to read it because it was D&D in comic form ... and that led to me reading it because of the characters.

Truth be known, since the whole Miko fall incident I only read because it is habit. I haven't yet been able to recover completely and get back into the characters ... but I am on the mend.
Yeah, somewhere between "habit" and "hope that this will be the week it briefly acheives its potential again".... And a side of "load the page in the morning and mock the writer's work ethic to the Hubby before moving on to the webcomics that are reliable." :D
 

I admit it was the D&D idiosyncracy-related humor at first, but now I find myself caring about the characters and story as if it was a favorite novel series :)
 





The funny thing is that I started reading it shortly before I even got into gaming. It probably wasn't beyond strip #60 at the time. I don't think my opinion of it has changed since I started gaming but then I've read more strips as a gamer than not. :)
 

Just started reading recently, and I'll say it's the story mostly. But the humor is definitely up there, too. :D
