1. Humor. Especially making fun of D&D.
2. Characters. When the humor is falling flat for me, it's probably the characters that keep me coming back.
3. Story. It's not good once he's depending on story to keep me interested, but it can manage the job.

Voted humor. Lately OotS has been kind of in a slump. I enjoyed the cartoon when it was more slap-stick and poked fun at the actual game instead of the characters.
 

The reason I made the poll is that even though OotS is a humour strip, I don't find it very funny and it's certainly not my main reason for reading. I've been sucked in by the story and I also like its 'D&Dity'.

From the results ENWorld clearly doesn't agree with me though, 'Humour' got more than half of all the votes cast.
