Did TSR shrinkwrap their books? How TH did you do that?

Dunno about Bront, but where I live, we didn't have any FLGS until the last few years (and the one we have now don't seem to prioritize RPGs all that high). My only way of buying RPG stuff was via mail order, and the place me and my buddies usually ordered from had a mail order catalog that consisted mostly of a list of product numbers, product names, and prices, with sidebars highlighting three or four items per page. With a setup like that, it's easy to see "Magic Encyclopedia" in the catalog, think "That sounds like a cool thing," and buy it without seeing it.VirgilCaine said:Did TSR shrinkwrap their books? That guy should be asking for PayPal donations. I'd pitch in.
