D&D General Why Enworld should liberate D&D from Hasbro

I studied this market.
Dungeons and Dragons has less then an eighteen percent chance of surviving the next two decades without the loss of millions of games.
This is not a threat; this is the truth.
The powerful of this game destroy their own past time, stripping its resources for themselves.
Many unique playstyles will soon be unplayable due to corporate greed.

Yet here some are, posts and arguments worried about stopping me instead of stopping Hasbro.
Enworld has the knowledge to repair the rules, run the games, and punish the munchkins.
Enworld could save more games in a single year then WOTC could in a hundred.
WOTC is failing this game and its players. Thousands of games die every day while Enworld rule is resisted.
Or do those games not matter to you?

Lol. ENworlds essentially irrelevant to WotCs bottom line.
And they dont agree on anything. A handful can produce something vs arguing.

My personal D&D is like a playtest packet. 50 odd pages needs work, cant be published but I run it occasionally.

Going by our own polling 70% or close enough are 5E, a few more are OSR the rest dont matter.

Only 1 is even vaguely planning anything concrete.

A small group eg 3-5 could probably something basic if they agreed on a direction.

Sometimes a flower is just a flower piglet.

MichaelSomething is a DungeonTube agent, stirring up tensions between WotC and ENWorld so that they can claim precious fandom resources and subscriber counts in contested territories.

The only bloc capable of ensuring D&D's sovereignty is the Confederation of Subreddits. Their values are much more in line with the ideals of sandbox freedom and game balance than authoritarian DungeonTube oligarchs.

D&D is the "mother of dragons" among the fantasy franchises from Northamerica. The TTRPG industry has been very affected by the videogames but there is a section of fandom who loves to create their own worlds and stories, and here the TTRPGs can sell the right tools.

Hasbro wants D&D to be a multigenre franchise, not only TTRPGs but also other line of products like novels and videogames. Here we can't blame them because their work is like an icebreaker ship opening a path that can be followed by others.

If there aren't serious mistakes D&D can survive and enjoy a shinning future in the next decades. It has been in worse times.

D&D is the "biggest basket" but "not all eggs are only in that basket". There are titles that coulf fill the empty space could be left.
