Because it's home.
My only hobby has even been D&D. I am very shy yet and keep to myself.
Here, I have been accepted both online and face-to-face at GenCon by the other members.
Nearly all my spare time is spent reading these boards (mostly Gerneral, but a little bit of everything).

I love that I can find an answer to an issue or discuss gaming ideas with hundreds of others while feeling like we are sitting around the table knocking back a few.

I do believe that Eric's Grandma and the great mods also keep this a family-like atmosphere.

I also think that BiggusGeekus may be the funniest person on the planet. His post always make me laugh.

Why do I visit EnWorld?

1. The community and civility
2. The General Forum where I can find out peruse interesting threads and even participate
3. The Rules forum to get a grip on some of the complexities of my favorite game.
4. To get the scoop on upcoming products
5. To harvest ideas for my game.
6. The community and civility.

Like many others, I came to Eric Noah's site to learn about the then-upcoming 3e. I keep coming back because I've learned so much from this community.

I came for Eric's 3E tidbits and stayed for the whores and ale.

I have found that ENWorld's forums are among the most interesting, friendly and non-cliquish out there (I only visit 3 - 4 forums in total).

Because I've been here (or Eric's site) for 7+ years and it's comfortable and friendly, and it's become a part of my daily routine and I couldn't imagine going without it.

Eric's boards were the first online forum I ever joined. I was a member of the Delta Green Mailing List first, but that was email sent to a central server or something that everyone received. This is the first actual board I was a member of. I stay because I recognize so many people and consider everyone friends, if distant ones. I like to read the thoughts of everyone here. I like getting others' impressions of D&D books, and hearing about their games. I like the discussions. But most of all, it's because it's a fun place to hang out, and I don't have a friendly place like this to hang out in real life.

Why am I here? My love for the game. I love creating and I love playing.

I have plenty that I have shared and have gotten praise for.

Everyone has their dtrong points in understanding certain aspects of the game better than other aspects. My forté is feats, spells and magic items. In creating for other aspects of the game I need feedback in order to help get things right.

I also come to enworld cause Fru always has something good to say.

Well maybe.

Some times.

Okay I just like the guy! :p :)
