I think people are just confused about why it's in T&B. Why put it in the wizard/sorcerer splatbook if it's not a spellcasting PrC? On the other hand, it requires arcane magic to take, so it doesn't really belong in S&F either...Wippit Guud said:Why?

Nowhere in the DMG it is written that if you increase/decrease in size your stats are affected. It mentions about AC and to hit modifier but nothing about stats.
The DD already get +8 increase in STR, which is in part due to the size increase.
