Why only even number of skill points per level?

It's only easy for humans with odd Int bonus and non-humans with even int bonus.

It`s probably more a flavor thing than anything else, but... I like it this way. And if you want to present your new ranger variant, and I read it having 5 skill points per level, I will adress you to this thing and say that I don`t like the concept, whatever else you might have done with it.
Not that you have to care for my opinion.

There's no reason other than conformity. Feel free to tweak away.

I agree.

With ability scores, odd modifiers could bring about the destruction of the universe as we know it. With skill points, however, there's no such stipulation, AFAIK. Feel free to experiment. We'll know soon enough if I am wrong.
