Pathfinder 1E Why Paizo fans are better than WotC fans.

Really? Have you not seen the reactions they get whenever they say anything at all whatsoever?

Mike Mearls: "I took a dump today!"

Fan response: "OMG! HE'S FLUSHING D&D DOWN THE TOILET!"

Then there's all the mess they've made by announcing things and making promises that they can't produce or keep... like... pretty much everything they've done over the last ten years...

Okay, this is one of the greatest posts ever, I literally laughed out loud (I did not LOL), the took a dump line killed me, thank you for making my day.

As for the topic: I can't add much, but yeah, WotC being bought by Coca Cola or what-have-you was not a good sign, I was thinking: here we go, D&D Extreme.

Everything has to be extreme these days...

Okay, I've resisted the temptation to call anything a dealbreaker over years of posting about D&D, but I may finally have found the line I can't cross.

I'm not going to DM from a Bungee Cord harness.

(it would be bad for immersion -- you'd get immersed in a scene, then pulled back out, then immersed, then pulled back out....)

Dealbreaker.

What?? If this is the future of 13th edition D&D I am totally IN, man! Radical! You are such an old man grognard... Totally five-foot square man, five-foot square.

...but if they say SOMETHING then people will rage/accept it and then move on.

I would offer up threads here on ENWorld that still complain about WotC's handling of Gleemax to say that you are in no way correct in this statement of yours. ;)

If people could "move on"... we'd all be still talking happily about the current game.
