I liked Hamil's laugh for the joker, though not sure if it was "scary".Klaus said:I find it scarier than any other Joker laugh I heard (granted, I hear very little of Hamill's Joker because it's dubbed here).

It's no rumor. Aaron Eckahrdt is playing District Attorney Harvey Dent in this movie. The Grumpy Celt said:Actually, they introduced Arkham Asylum in the last movie. It is where Jonathan Crane/The Scarecrow (aka the lackie for the Shadow Guys) worked. In the last movie, among all the other chaos, was a full on riot and many lunatics escaped, including Mr. Zsasz, Truth Seeker and more.
Spoiler Rumor:include a musical number.A rumor I heard is that Harvey Dent is a character in this one and the Joker lives at least long enough to splash him with Acid creating Two-Face. And the movie does not
I think Ledger’s Joker, when he is standing in the road demanding Batman “hits” him, is almost demoniacally scary.
It interesting the more “realistic” approach these new Batman movies are employing. It more or less precludes the appearance of characters like Clayface, Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy, but still allows the Riddler, Catwoman and the Penguin.
If they were to do a nebulous "nobody could have survived that" scene, that would fit perfectly with Joker from the comics, who seems to have a reputation of popping back up sometime after he supposedly died. Maybe even, just before the credits start to roll as thecamera pulls back from Bruce/Bats, cue up the Joker laughingCthulhudrew said:Then again, given these are comic book movies, maybe they'll leave us with an ambiguous "death" cliffhanger.
Just so long as we don't see the body, I'm fine with it.![]()
I don't know if I'd say non traditional and non canon. Certainly non traditional for the screen but perfect for the joker from the comics. when I've seen him on screen in the past, (cartoon or otherwise) I never get the impression than i get from reading a joker comic, which is 'uh oh someone's going to die'.The Grumpy Celt said:The choices the director, writer and others have made with this Joker are non-traditional and non-cannon…
And by God I like them!!!
Bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!
I agree with you on that, he was a better Bruce than BatsOnyx said:Clooney was a good Bruce Wayne, but not the most convincing Batman. Of course, the abysmal script may have added to it some.
