There are people who are concerned about the increasing use of facial recognition software. Some gave responded by creating makeup/fashion designs inspired by the US Navy’s dazzle paint camouflage systems of the 1940s.

If these systems work, they‘re developments that nicely presage the oddball visual/fashion aesthetics found in so many dystopian movies and tv shows.
