EDIT: Oddly enough, there's a greek myth about Maenads (I always thought it was pronounced MY-nads, though it turns out it's MEE-nads); They ended up being a psionic race in 3.5 - Calm humanoids with crystals in their skin who are only barely in control of their roiling emotions.

Yes. This is exactly what I meant by "amateurish site full of inacuracies and made-up stuff".
I don't know every celtic legend but judging from other articles and the "Magickal and Ritual Help", this source doesn't seem very reliable. I think this Lesidhe is just an amalgam of the Slavic Leshy and the Irish Sidhe.

The vodianoy mentioned in the article is actually a water spirit, not the Russian name for a leshy "who loves to drink"
On the same page you have the "Limniades" article straight from the new-agey book I quoted upthread. The limnades (actual spelling) were really water nymphs and had nothing in common with the Will-O'-the-Wisps apart from their habitat, or with sun deities and the Fire element. The word is derived from the Greek 'limne', meaning 'lake' or 'swamp' and isn't related to 'illuminate'.


As for the main topic, I think Woodwose is no longer an option since there is a Wood Woad in MM2. I still think Arborean would be a good choice.
