Wildshapes and Feats?

OK.. I'm making a Druid level 8 with a 9 str.
Can I take the feats Power Attack and Cleave?
Power Attack requires a 13 str. and many of his forms have that in spades. But the "original" form does not have it. Can he purchase the feats?

I'd answer with a definite maybe. You do qualify for the feat sometimes so you can probably acquire the feat but are unable to use it except when wildshaped. IIRC, druids can take multi-attack from MotW and they can only use that feat while wildshaped (assuming base races). That would make a solid case for considering Power Attack a "wild" feat.

Or like the way you can take feats by fulfilling the prerequisites by using magic items; you can only use the feat (and those dependent on it) while you fulfill the prerequisites.

I'd allow it. Many of the creatures already have power attack anyway, don't they? Of course yopu couldn't use the featrs unless you were in shape with 13+ Str.
