Will I still love my girlfriend in 4th Edition?

It's times like these that I'm glad the programmers made an Ignore button.

Hey, do girlfriends get those in 4e? Or is listening one of those old school things that will get held over...

Well there are two ways to balance out a scale remove enough or add enough and since this hasn't been removed yet lets add something truely funny instead.
(Why do you have to say I'm not "truely" funny? Seriously, when guys are standing around telling jokes, and someone tells a bad one, the guy who says "Man, that joke sucked" is just being mean. What did I ever do to you?)

I've asked ShadeyDM to leave the thread, so please don't address questions to him - there's no legitimate way for him to address comments.

Thanks!

Actually, the stress of an imminent conversion of our long-term campaign to a new ruleset was too overwhelming for us. And a representative from WotC never called me to specifically address my concerns, either about the At-Will/Encounter/Daily/Utility scheme or the amount of time my girlfriend spent partying with work friends. We broke up three months before the release of the 4E Player's Handbook.

I was hopeful that we could recapture the old magic and reconcile with some 3rd party support when WotC released an OGL for 4th Edition, but sadly, as we all know, such was not to be. The GSL was a poor substitute.

I see pictures of her new boyfriend on Facebook sometimes. I've never met him, but he often has a look on his face that makes me think he plays in a semi-regular Pathfinder game with his old DM from high school. But maybe I read too much into things.

"He looks like a Pathfinder player."

For some reason, I am reminded of thus quote from "The Once and Future King":

"He was remorseless, disillusioned, logical, predatory, fierce, pitiless--but his great jewel of an eye was that of a stricken deer, large, fearful, sensitive and full of griefs. He made no movement, but looked upon them with his bitter eye."
